We like these clip-on fasteners. They are more gentle on fabrics than safety pins and they come with an adjustable elastic, so they can made to fit a lot of jobs. Use them to hold your ironing cover smoothly on your board, clip them onto slip covers for a smooth, tight fit, put them on the diagonal to hold fitted sheets and mattress covers in place, and much more.
