You can create the look of hand binding while actually saving time and attaching your binding by machine. Double-folded bindings are attached from the front and folded over to the back. Stitching is then done "in the ditch" where the binding meets the fabric, hiding your stitches. These adapters and "fences" keep your stitching straight and at a consistent distance from the edge. You get 4 fences: 1 for garments, and 3 for low, medium and high loft batting. The 6 adapters allow you to use Stitch-N-Ditch on most home sewing machines. (None needed for Viking, Husqvarna, Janome or New Home. Some Berninas require a special adapter.).
