If you like to create your own piping, but find it difficult to make a uniformly sized edge, this tool is for you. It is simple to use. Just rough cut your bias fabric for the piping and create the piping as usual, making sure you have left on more fabric than you need for the desired seam allowance. Then slip the piping welt into one of the grooves in the tool. Run your rotary cutter along the tool’s edge and you will have piping with a clean cut edge at the exact width you desire. Tool has 4 grooves to make 1/4", 1/2", 3/8" or 5/8" piping.
